In order to apply Google Analytics tracking on your newsletters you need to have a Google Analytics account that is connected to your website:

1. Sign in to Google Analytics homepage (www.google.com/analytics) and create an account.

2. When creating your account, you are asked to copy and paste a tracking code into your homepage. The tracking code should be placed immediately before the </body> tag on each page that you would like to track.

Please note that Google Analytics generally updates your reports every 24 h, it might therefore take a day before the tracking is up and running and any statistic can be collected. If you still haven’t received any data to your Google Account after 24 h, it might be that your tracking code is incorrect.
