Before you begin, ensure the following are activated in your Apsis account:
· Form Builder tool
· REST-based API
These can only be activated by your Apsis contact. Reach out to your account manager, or the support team to enable these features.
Generate Your API Key
Once activated, follow these steps to generate your API key:
Log in to your Apsis account in Pro
Navigate to the Account tab, then select Integration
Click Generate and enter a name for your API key
Click Generate again
Apsis will create your API key, which will be displayed next to the name you specified. Your API key is now ready to use for connecting the Form Builder tool to your Apsis account.
Copy the API key you generated.
Ensure the key contains no blank spaces.
Tip: For the best experience, open the Form Builder in a new tab while keeping Pro open in another tab. This allows you to easily switch between both tools while creating and configuring your forms.
Open Form Builder in a New Window
Click the arrow next to the Pro text at the top of the page
Select Form Builder from the dropdown menu
A new window will open with the Form Builder tool
Open Form Builder in a Separate Window
Navigate to the Recipients section of your account
Click the settings icon (cogwheel) and select the Subscription Forms tab
Click the New Form button
The Form Builder tool will open in a new window
Connect Form Builder to Your Apsis Account
Click the Settings tab
Click the Authenticate button
Enter your copied API key and API name
Click Authenticate
Connection Successful
Once authenticated, your Apsis account is now connected to the Form Builder tool. You will see two buttons:
Revoke – disconnect your account
Settings – manage your connection settings
Revoking Your Connection
If you need to disconnect and reconnect later, click the Revoke button. You can then authenticate again by entering your API key and name.
