Dynamic Forms

Dynamic Forms in APSIS Pro let you create forms for contacts to log in and view secure content. Login credentials are set in Unique passwords under recipient settings. This guide shows how Dynamic Forms work and how to get started

Updated over a week ago

Get started by finding the Dynamic Forms tab in your Recipient settings. This area is where you create, edit, and manage your Dynamic forms.

Creating a New Form

Build a new form by adding details, adjusting its look, and setting up basics like form name and descriptive text.

To create a new form:

  1. Click New Form.

  2. Fill in the details, including:
    - Form name
    - Form heading
    - Description text (this is where you add any instructions for users)
    - Action button text (what the button will say, like “Submit” or “Log in”)
    - Error text (a message shown if something goes wrong)

For design changes, use the Form header code and Form footer code fields to add your own HTML for headers and footers. When you have finished making changes, press Save Form to save your new Dynamic form.

You can see a live preview as you customise in the This is what your form will look like - area.

Redirecting After Login

Control what happens after a user logs in or submits the form by setting up redirects.

There are three options, tick the option that works best:

  • A page created in Apsis, open the drop-down to choose from the pages you already made in Apsis Pro

  • A survey created in Apsis, open the drop-down to choose from the surveys you already made in Apsis Pro

  • A webpage; just add the URL.

Sharing The Form

After saving, get a shareable link that lets you send your form to anyone.

To share your form:

  • Find the form URL directly below the form details.

  • Copy and share the link by email, newsletter, or web page.

Existing Forms

Reuse and update a previously created form instead of starting from scratch.

To use a saved form:

  1. Use the Select form drop -down menu to pick the form you want.

  2. Edit any details you wish to change.

  3. Click Save Form after making your updates to keep changes.

Quick Summary

Dynamic Forms let you easily gate content behind a login to ensure only the right people access it. This guide explained how to access, build, update, preview, and share your forms, as well as how to direct users after login. Following these steps ensures your forms are tailored to your needs and easy for recipients to use.

Note!

  • Always double-check your redirect links to make sure recipients land on the right page.

  • Remember to save after making any edits so that changes are not lost.

  • Custom headers and footers allow you to match the look and feel of your brand.

  • Only recipients with a Unique password will be able to login with the Dynamic Form.
