How To Create a Date-Based Filter

Want to connect with customers who made a purchase after a certain date? Filters help you organise your subscriber data so you can reach just the right people at the right time. Whether you are planning a campaign or simply want to analyse recent behaviour, filtering by date keeps your outreach relevant and focused.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to easily set up a filter based on a date field β€” for example, to find everyone whose Last purchase was after 1 January 2020.

Step 1: Choose Your Date

Decide on the date that will be the basis for your filter. For example, filter for subscribers whose last purchase was after 1 January 2020.

Step 2: Select the Appropriate Data Field

Go to the demographic data section and click on Last purchase to set this as your filter.

Step 3: Set Up the Date Condition

Pick date larger than from the filter options. Enter your chosen date in the format YYYYMMDD β€” for example, type 20200101 if your cut-off is 1 January 2020.

Your filter will now show only those subscribers whose last purchase happened after your chosen date.

Did You Know?

- Always use the date format YYYYMMDD β€” for example, 20230115 for 15 January 2023. - Filters can be combined for even more detailed segmentation.

Note! If your filter does not seem to work, double-check the date format. Still having trouble? Reach out to your CRM support team for assistance.

Expanding Your Filters

You can also filter your subscribers by other demographic data, like location, age, or gender. Mix and match these options to target exactly the right group for your next campaign.
