Configuring Header and Footer in Recipient Settings

In this article, you will learn how to configure the header and footer for your subscription and unsubscription forms in Apsis Pro. You will also learn how to customize the text content displayed in these forms.

If no changes are made, default settings will be applied automatically.

Accessing Recipient Settings

  1. Click the cogwheel icon in the top-right corner of the Recipients box.

  1. Open the Header/Footer tab to access configuration options for both subscription and unsubscription messages.

Header HTML Code

In the Header HTML code field, you can customize the appearance of your system messages and form’s header using HTML. This code defines the overall look and feel of the header section.

Footer HTML Code

Scroll down to the Footer HTML code field to edit the styling and layout of your system messages and form’s footer.
This section works the same way as the header configuration.

Note: You can update the HTML code yourself. However, Apsis Pro does not provide support for custom HTML. If you require assistance, this is available as a paid service—please contact our support team.

Customizing Message Content

You can also customize the content of various forms displayed to recipients during subscription, unsubscription, and related actions.

Unsubscription form

In the Unsubscription form section, you can:

  • Set a custom header and text to be displayed between the header and footer.

  • Customize the button text shown for confirming an unsubscription.

Tell a friend form

In the Tell a Friend form, you can update:

  • The header text

  • The main body text

  • The button text

This form is used when a recipient clicks the “Tell a Friend” link in a newsletter.

Update subscriber form

The Update Subscriber form allows you to modify labels and text for the form used when a recipient clicks the “Update my subscription” link in a newsletter.

You can customize:

  • Edit subscriber text

  • Subscriber data and demographic data labels

  • Subscription details text

  • Button text for Cancel and Save subscriber data

Email address not found

If a recipient’s email address cannot be located, the Email address not found form is displayed.
Here you can update:

  • The header

  • The body text

  • The button text

  • The confirmation text shown after the email address is updated

Saving Your Changes

When all updates are complete, click Save to apply and store your changes.

You have now successfully configured and customized the header, footer, and form messages in Apsis Pro.
