Editing Tracking Values in a Newsletter
For each newsletter, you can easily modify the preset values (tags) assigned to the Google Analytics tracking keys. This allows you to collect specific tracking data for each unique send-out in Google Analytics.
In the newsletter editor, go to the Settings tab.
Under the External Statistics section, click the “+” icon next to the tracking group you want to edit.
Edit the value of your tags.
The tracking keys and their associated tags will be automatically added to the links in your newsletter. This means that every time a recipient clicks a link that leads to your website containing tracking code, tracking data will be sent. That information is then included in the reports generated by your external web analytics system.
