APSIS Pro offers a scalable account setup to suit organisations of all sizes. While some companies may only require a single account to manage their marketing activities, larger organisations often benefit from a more advanced structure.
With APSIS Pro, you can establish a master account and link multiple sub-accounts and add light-accounts, enabling centralised control while providing tailored access for different teams, departments, or regions. In this article, we will explore how this structure works and how it can support your organisation’s needs.
For example, a large retail company could use the master account for the marketing HQ, set up sub-accounts for each regional office, and provide light accounts to specific store locations.
Understanding Account Types
Master account
In APSIS Pro, a master account serves as the central hub for managing multiple connected accounts. The account allows administrators to access all subaccounts and oversee subaccount activities from one place.
Examples:
In your account settings, you can view the total number of subscribers for your master account, along with the combined subscriber count across all subaccounts. This overview helps you monitor audience growth more effectively.
Publish content and emails directly to any sub-account or light-account.
Send-outs from each subaccount are visible within the master account, organised into individual folders.
Sub-account
Subaccounts are linked to the master account and can be tailored for different departments, regions, or teams. Each subaccount can have its own users, settings, and content, while still being part of the overall account structure.
Light-account
A light-account is a streamlined version of an account. It is suited for users or teams that only need access to the very basics of APSIS Pro.
About light-accounts
Unlike master and sub-accounts, a light-account is created directly under the settings of an existing account.
Having access to a light-account user profile gives you access to the corresponding light-account, which is set up by the main account user. Light-accounts is a feature that needs to be ordered separately.
As a light-account user, your permissions are limited: you can only edit and send pre-designed newsletters to mailing lists that have been predefined by the main account user. You will only see delivery reports for your own sendings. You will not be able to create your own mailing lists or view the subscribers on the lists you are assigned. However, you are allowed to add, remove, and import subscribers to those lists.
How to create a light-account
Go to your Account settings
Start by navigating to the account side of the platform and choose the Users -tab.
Scroll to “Light-Accounts”
Locate the section labeled Light-accounts. This is where all existing light accounts are listed and where new ones can be added.
Click “Create New”
To create a new light-account, click on the Create New button.
Once saved, the new light-account will be active and ready to use with the limitations set by the main account user.
Quick Summary
APSIS Pro simplifies the management of complex account structures, making it easier for organisations to stay organised, streamline content distribution, and keep clear oversight across teams.
